Workshops and Classes

Niina Chebry teaches a variety of painting classes in community centres and at her Vancouver studio.  These are generally small classes where she is able to spend quality time with each student. Courses are modified to benefit the needs of the participants where clear demonstrations and instruction on theory, practice and composition are provided. Painting breakthroughs and discovery are highly encouraged. Here one can forget the worries of the day, relax and enjoy the creative process.

STUDIO COURSES

Spring Drawing-- EXTENDED!! OUTDOORS!! (or in my studio- weather dependent)
2 Monday evenings (6:30-8:30pm) -  May 31,and June 7  
1 Saturday afternoon- (1pm - 5pm) -- June 12 

$90 for the whole set or $30 for each session. (Saturday's session is $58.00)

Supply list:

  • a sketchbook- one that is large enough for you to feel comfortable doing on the spot ( on location) sketches. approx. 12"x16" or smaller
  • HB, 2B and 6B pencils
  • free flow ink pens (black)
  • a pad of newsprint (24" x 30") or larger

 

Create your own class:

If you would like to set up your own schedule, classes can be arranged with a 5 student maximum. These are based on 2 or 3 hour sessions. Times and dates are flexible within a 2 month period. Five session periods must be paid in full at the first class.
